A dozen hot air balloons provide the backdrop for a spectacular evening of music and dancing, featuring the sounds of the Ron King Band with vocalist Barbara Morrison. Ron King  is an award-winning artist who has performed at virtually every venue in L.A. Including the Hollywood Bowl. For the last 15 years his band has been the featured big band at the world's largest jazz festival in Jakarta, Indonesia. Ron King is one of the finest trumpet / composer / arranger artists, in the world today. Morrison is known for a melodic voice and a three-and-a-half-octave range. As an official event of the 6th Annual Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival, this concert will feature a hot air balloon glow, weather and FAA permitting. No refunds will be given if balloons are canceled due to weather or FAA regulations.

Paul Taylor is an American smooth jazz saxophonist who has released eleven albums. Jessy J is an award-winning contemporary jazz saxophonist. Michael Paulo is an internationally renowned saxophonist who has toured and recorded with a list of “who’s who” in contemporary jazz.

With a career spanning decades and collaborations with countless artists, Ray Parker Jr. performs for the first time at Grooves at the Westin along with special guest Kevin Toney. GRAMMY-winning artist, Ray Parker, Jr., is a musician, songwriter, record producer and actor, best known for the theme to Ghostbusters in 1984. Joining him is Kevin Toney, jazz pianist and composer who was a member of The Blackbyrds.

Undoubtedly one of the most popular figures in smooth jazz, Peter White brings his endearing style and immense talent on acoustic guitar back to Grooves at The Westin. White will be joined by veteran saxophonist Michael Paulo and keyboardist Gregg Karukas. Bring your sweetheart for an early Valentine’s Day treat.
